If you don't follow Lurk on social media (but why wouldn't you??), you may not have heard what's planned for the new year.
Lurk has been on hiatus since mid October while the direction of the podcast was reevaluated. We needed a new direction. One that would provide quality content with a more manageable schedule.
Starting February 7, 2025, Lurk will be releasing new paranormal themed episodes on a biweekly basis.
Along with those episodes, there will be 1 true crime episode released per month on a Sunday as part of our new "Stab and Gab Sunday" feature (I can't take credit for the catchy name- I 100% stole that from Liz at Sew Sci Fi and Beyond). We will also be bringing in some guest cohosts from time to time. Our friend Liz at Sew Sci Fi has already been voluntold she'll be cohosting an upcoming true crime episode, and fan favorite Angelina, aka Agent A, is set to come back as well (if you're reading this Angelina, you're coming back to cohost).
In addition to the episode release changes and the guest cohosts, we're also hoping to do more with investigations bringing you EVP recording in episodes along with some Facebook live investigations. We've revamped the website, added the blog and will be launching a monthly newsletter so be sure to sign up for that on the website!
We'll still be showing up at some events. We hope to be at the Sasquatch Saturday again in Sykesville, MD (hoping they have that event this year), but we won't be at the Whitehall Sasquatch Festival in Whitehall, NY in September. Instead, we'll be at a paranormal podcast convention in New Orleans. Information about events will be shared as soon as we have the information.
